Terms of Service
Effective September 11, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the SyncVue AI website, dashboard, mobile app, and edge gateway software (together, the “Service”), operated by SyncVue AI (“SyncVue,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent (“Customer”).
1. Accounts and roles
Access to the Service is organization-based. Your organization’s administrator controls who has an account, what role each account holds, and which cameras and locations that account can see. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity on your account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to monitor a location without the legal right to do so, or in a way that violates applicable surveillance, wiretapping, or biometric privacy law.
- Enable biometric detections without posting any notice or obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction.
- Attempt to access another organization’s cameras, footage, or account data.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or white-label the Service except under a separate reseller agreement with SyncVue.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or attempt to bypass its security controls.
3. Customer responsibility for cameras and footage
Customer owns and is responsible for the cameras connected to the Service and for the footage those cameras capture, including obtaining any required consent from people who may appear on camera and complying with recording and retention laws that apply to Customer’s locations. SyncVue processes that footage on Customer’s behalf and does not independently decide what is recorded.
4. AI features
The Service uses artificial intelligence, including third-party AI models, to detect events, describe scenes, and answer natural-language searches. AI output is probabilistic and can be incomplete or incorrect. The Service is a monitoring and investigative aid, not a certified safety, security, or life-safety system, and should not be the sole basis for a safety-critical decision.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at signup or in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in a separate written agreement. We may change pricing on renewal with notice to your organization’s administrator.
6. Mobile app
The SyncVue mobile app is provided under these Terms and, where applicable, the usage rules of the app store you downloaded it from. Push notifications, Face ID, Touch ID, or other device-provided authentication are optional conveniences and do not replace your organization’s access controls.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms, non-payment, or a security risk to the Service or other Customers. Customer may terminate by canceling its subscription; footage and account data are handled per our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy following termination.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncVue disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and SyncVue’s aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here and update the effective date above; continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
